Title: Fundamentos da Análise de Sistemas Dinâmicos
Author: José Carlos de C. Pereira

Sinopse:
This book is intended for undergraduate students of mechanical engineering or related engineering disciplines whose curricula focus on the dynamics of elastic structural elements. The content covered in this book aims to add knowledge that will allow the reader to apply the concepts of fatigue failure to the design of dynamically stressed mechanical components. The Lagrangian approach to obtaining the differential equations of motion recurs throughout the book, allowing the reader to consolidate this formulation to develop models of systems in uni-, bi- and triaxial motion.
Solving the equations of motion in the time domain, the focus of this book, makes it possible to describe the behavior of the system in a transient regime by means of its variables, such as displacements or torsion angles, generating from them the alternating stresses developed in the structural elements. Simple mechanical system models are developed, but they are easy to identify with real engineering systems, such as vehicle suspensions, gear trains, landing gear and rotating machines.
